Anisa is currently a criminal research and intelligence analyst for the City of Naples, a position she has held for over 10 years.

In this episode, Nancy Valenti shares how it took her almost nine years to land the official “crime analyst” title, but she has already been doing the job during her colorful career prior to it. Nancy began her law enforcement career in dispatch, then transitioned to litigation support before studying cybersecurity which she transitioned into later. Nancy discusses the transferable skills between her various positions, and how she knew analysis was where her heart was. Nancy worked on a multitude of homicide cases during her tenure, but has since geared her expertise towards threat analysis. Nancy is currently a threat intelligence officer for the State of Maine.
