Monday Aug 08, 2022
Episode: 00119
Release Date: August 8, 2022
Description: Ever wonder how the laws work in another country? The USA is quite unique compared to India with its federal and state laws. Akshata Kumavat walks us through her educational journey and the difficulties with learning both India's and USA's laws. Akshata's badge story involves using a persons-of-interest database to help solve older cases (e.g., homicides); Akshata emphasizes that locations can change, but criminals tend to be creatures of habit, committing similar crimes in other places. Akshata is currently developing an intelligence model for local departments and is an intelligence operations manager for the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
